LINO LAKES — After 30 years of carefully choosing the right home for the German shepherds she breeds, Lino Lakes resident Sharon Todoroff will soon be in a position to oversee the care administered by area veterinarians to dogs and other animals.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty appointed Todoroff to a four-year term on the Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine, which is the state licensing agency for veterinarians, on April 2.

COON RAPIDS —Since losing its first game of the season, the Centennial baseball team has won four games in a row.

The Cougars played at Coon Rapids High School on Thursday in a hotly contested battle that showed the true determination of the team.
