Evie was my pick from a litter of
seven. When the litter was born, I remember calling Cindy and Bart Bartley
and telling them they had their black bitch and I had my sable bitch.
Evie has a brother, American and Canadian Champion Santana, owned by
Roberta Moore and two more of her siblings have major wins, brother Shades
of Time and her sister Black Magic Woman.
Evie's parents are Inflights Jubilation v Chablis, ROM and American &
Canadian Champion Todorhaus Tennessee Jed, ROM. Evie is following in her
sire and dam's footsteps; both sire and dam have been honored as Top
Producing Sires and Dams.
When Evie was 9 months old, I decided to start showing her to get her
ready for the Futurities. She was handled by Liz Oster. Every time we took
her to a show she would win the points and many times win Best of Breed
and place in the Groups. When she was just a little over a year old,
13-1/2 months, she had finished her championship.
I decided to breed her so that she would mature. I bred her to Am./Can.
Ch. Marquis Gladiator. That breeding produced eight beautiful girls.
Their first champion was Legally Bonde, finishing at 12 months. Her
sisters, All That Jazz, Evita and Almost Famous, have major wins. American
Beauty has minor points and waiting in the wings are Rebecca, Notorious
and Bring It On.
This year we bred her to Ch. WeLove Duchien's Harrison, and we have 4
girls and 2 boys born on July 7, 2005. They are really looking nice.
Evie is a joy to have, full of fun, a terrific mother and a great show
dog. She finished in the top ten rankings with limited showing. We are
looking forward to many more years with her and hope to have a couple more
litters. |
